Clinical Assessment
Paste a clinical note, physician message, or verbal summary — the AI clinical notes parser extracts wound type, payer, duration, size, and prior treatments automatically. Enter details manually if preferred. The system flags WISeR prior-authorization states in real time so your billing team can submit before product is ordered.
Product Match
Products are ranked by clinical fit for the individual patient profile. Each match includes clinical rationale, MUE ceilings, and payer considerations — giving the physician a clear, defensible recommendation tailored to the wound bed, perfusion, and treatment history.
Enrollment & Ordering
Look up the provider by NPI to auto-populate practice information from the national registry. Enrollment is routed through DocuSign with the BAA included in the same envelope. The order form pre-fills from the clinical match, and the complete case packet is ready for submission.

VAC Approval
Ellward provides a complete VAC documentation packet: HCPCS codes, MUEs, payer coverage by product, 2026 OPPS reimbursement rates, clinical evidence summaries, and storage and shelf-life specifications. Everything procurement needs — nothing they have to chase down.
Physician Selects & Orders
The physician selects the product matched to the patient's payer — Medicare, Medicaid, or commercial. The hospital issues a single PO to Ellward with net terms. All products are ambient storage with long shelf life — no cold chain, no expiration risk for your supply team.
Hospital Bills Payer
The hospital bills the payer on a UB-04 under OPPS. Product reimbursement is separately payable under the 2026 OPPS — not bundled into the facility fee. Ellward is invoiced and paid separately and is never involved in the claim.
